March 2009 – "LIFT" Awards The Kentish Town Health Centre in North London was awarded the Design Award at the 2009 LIFT Awards in March. The centre is one of Camden & Islington Community Solutions’ (CICS) flagship developments and AMS is delighted to have been a supply chain partner providing accounting and company secretarial support to CICS since 2004.

January 2009 – Financial close for Fareham Community Hospital Hampshire PCT in partnership with Solent Community Solutions Ltd (SCS) is delighted to announce that they have achieved financial close for Fareham Community Hospital under the NHS LIFT scheme.

November 2008 – Public Sector Advisory contract AMS have been appointed as advisors to a national Public Sector investment fund. We will cover various advisory roles in this capacity.

August 2008 – AMS Ltd is included in "Wales Hot 100 2008" list. The Western Mail – Wales’s national newspaper – commissioned the University of Glamorgan to compile a top 100 of companies which have proven themselves to be successful start-ups in recent years. AMS Ltd are proud to be listed amongst these and a write up on the company appears in their Business in Wales, August publication.

May 2008 - "LIFT" project closure. AMS Ltd acts as Company Secretary and provides Corporate Governance guidance on a further "LIFT" project. This project is based in the North of England and provides accommodation and support services to facilitate the provision of medical care to the local community.

March 2008 - Dr Who visits AMS director! The new series of Doctor Who has started. In this series, the Doctor’s new companion is played by Catherine Tate and all scenes involving her house were, in fact, filmed at John George’s house in Cardiff. December 2007 - Member of staff moves on. Crystal has decided to leave AMS to take up an opportunity with a Ford dealer franchise. All of us at AMS wish her every success in her career.

October 2007 - AMS has completed its IT upgrades. The company is now using the Microsoft Office 2007 package and Server software. We have also updated and upgraded to the latest Sage software, being the Sage 2008 package.

July 2007 - Major PFI project refinances after several years of successful operation. AMS has been the Company Secretary to this project since its signing.

May 2007 - The third tranche of investment within a LIFT project in London is Financially closed – AMS are pleased to be providing long term support to this successful venture.

April 2007 - The second tranche of investment within a LIFT project in the North of England is Financially closed – AMS will provide support services to this in addition to the original investment.

December 2006 - Another LIFT project signed - A further LIFT project which has AMS's long term support has been signed. This scheme, in which this is the second project to be signed, is based in Hampshire, where the first project already operating successfully.

October 2006 - Another LIFT scheme becomes operational - A further LIFT project, based in central London , to which AMS provides long term services and support, has become operational. This is the second project in this particular LIFT scheme to come online.

September 2006 - Rajakna has finished her “sandwich” year with AMS and has returned to complete her degree course at university. We wish her the very best of luck with her studies.

February 2006 - Another LIFT scheme becomes operational - A third LIFT project to which AMS provides long term services and support has become operational. AMS provides Financial, Accounting and Corporate Governance services to schemes within the Government's LIFT (Local Improvement Finance Trusts) schemes to improve local NHS services via PCTs (Primary Care Trusts).

November 2005 - Further LIFT scheme is signed - A fourth LIFT (Local Improvement Finance Trusts) project has been signed with AMS's long term support in place for a number of services, including Accounting, Financial and Company Secretarial services.

October 2005 - New employee! - AMS are pleased to announce that Wyn Davies will be joining the team in the role of Finance Manager.

August 2005 - New employee! - AMS are pleased to announce that Rajakna Ullah will be joining the team in the role of Finance Assistant on a twelve month work placement as the third year of her degree course.

July 2005 - New employee! - AMS are pleased to announce that Crystal Jenkins will be joining the team in the role of Finance Assistant on a twelve month work placement as the third year of her degree course.

June 2005 - Modus Services win PPP award - AMS are proud to congratulate Modus Services Limited following the award for Best Operational Defence Scheme at the recent PPP Awards dinner in London.

Sally Brooks attended the dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel as a guest of Modus Services to see the award presented jointly to Les Mitchell, Managing Director of Modus Services Limited and Richard Hadfield of the Ministry of Defence.

AMS continue to provide company secretarial services to the company and Sally has been involved with the project since pre financial close.

Modus Services has now successfully managed the refurbishment of the Ministry of Defence Main Building in Whitehall and continues to provide the facilities management of the building. The shareholders are Equion and Innisfree.

April 2005 - New Employee! - AMS are pleased to announce that Cecilia Stanlake has joined the team in the role of Office Manager, helping look after AMS as it continues to grow.

1 February 2005 - Expanding office - AMS has signed a lease to expand our office accommodation. AMS now has a suite of offices across 46 and 48 Charles Street. All contact details remain the same.

3 January 2005 - New contract - AMS have agreed a contract to provide a variety of financial services to a consortium of leading PFI investors to support their operation of three waste incineration plants.

20 October 2004 - New employee! - AMS are pleased to announce that Stephen Bowen has agreed to join the team. Steve will take on the role of Finance Manager and strengthen our finance and accounting capabilities, bringing with him many years of experience in senior accounting roles. He will start with us on the 15th of November – his photo and brief details are on the Team page.

14 September 2004 - Secondary PFI Market - AMS have been retained to carry out further work by a major Fund on their acquisitions in the Secondary PFI Market. We have previously carried out work for this Fund and are delighted to see this working relationship flourishing.

30 July 2004 - IT Support - We have just signed a long term IT support contract with Ed Hodson. Ed recently designed and installed our wireless and remote access broadband IT network. We consider Ed to be very much a part of the AMS team and you may see his details (and how to contact him) on the Team page.

20 July 2004 - second LIFT contract - The second LIFT contract has been signed this month by CSPC - with whom AMS has a long term strategic alliance on LIFT projects. The Camden and Islington scheme was signed this month, following on from our previous success in closing the Barnsley scheme.

25 June - New employee! - Rhian Dowling has joined AMS. Rhian is an Accounting and Finance student on her 'sandwich' year. Please see the Team page for details.

20 June - Switchboard and IT upgrade - AMS has installed a multi-line switchboard – this means you should never have an engaged response when phoning our main number 029 2041 4387.

We have also upgraded our IT systems. AMS now has a secure, encrypted WiFi (wireless) network with “always on” remote broadband access. This means that we can access our file servers remotely, which allows us to provide a more instant service to clients.

2 June 2004 - AMS launch new website
